hopeless romantic

today i headed over to hope and glory in swaffham for the third time in as many weeks to get some more work done on my lower left leg. today was a pocket watch, complete with ornate chain and then the phrase "hopeless romantic" (yeah it is bouncing souls inspired) written in script just below the back of my left knee, slightly above the heart/umbrella that i got a fortnight ago. both turned out really well and i will get round to posting a picture of both, as well as of the aforementioned heart/umbrella piece and also a long overdue picture of my finished chest piece. i only have a couple more pieces to get and then the lower half of my left leg is finished.

also on the tattoo front, i booked in with tiny miss becca for the sunday of the inaugural norwich tattoo convention which i'm really looking forward to. i'm getting a puffin on the outside/back of my left thigh and i have no doubt whatsoever that it will look amazing. i got my shin tattooed a few months ago by becca and her work is so good that i can't wait to get another piece of work done by her.


this evening i watched the first in the new series of 'charlie brooker's newswipe' in which brooker takes a satiracle look at the weeks news events. some of you may have seen his 'screenwipe' series before or read his articles in the guardian and if this is the case then i guarantee you'll enjoy it. if you're not familiar with brooker's work then i suggest you familiarise yourself with it soon as he's one of the sharpest, quick witted and intelligent comedians/satirists/writers around at the moment.


tomorrow i really have to get some more college work done but motivation is at a premium and all i'd ideally like to do is lie in bed listening to bands who are influenced by mike kinsella and reading the newspaper. god how i long for the end of june...
