Aaawhoooooooooooooooooo!

This past weekend, Lonewolves played the Saturday of the Thirty Days Of Night 5th Birthday weekender.

Drove up on the Friday afternoon and luckily the roads were fairly clear. Arrived safe and sound, got food and then hung out with various friends that we haven't seen for ages.

The show itself on Saturday turned out to be really good and it was nice to play to a room full of people, a large number of which were singing along and generally enjoying themselves. It was a great way to finish off what has been a bit of an up and down year for us as a band, so thank you.

After we played, I headed in to town with Steph to get tea and generally catch up, after which Rob and I headed to Fuji Hiro to eat as Steph had to go to her work christmas meal. Cannot believe this was the first time Rob had eaten there as it's probably one of my favourite restaurants in Leeds. After a detour back to the venue to speak to a couple of people and help load out, Rob and I headed back to his and spent the rest of the evening chain drinking cups of tea and watching comedy re-runs on Dave. Good evening.

Sunday we got breakfast at an awesome cafe on Hyde Park corner that I always go to but can never remember the name of (see picture below) and then headed home. Thankfully the roads were again snow and ice free and we managed to back it back before it went dark.

We all had a massively fun weekend and it was a great way to see out 2009 for us in probably my favourite U.K. city.

Special thanks to: Sam for putting up the rest of Lonewolves and generally being an awesome guy, Faz for organising the whole thing, Closure, Saker and BreakingxPoint and Oathbreaker.

Here are some pictures...
