are you ten years ago

this week has consisted of;

work, work and more work, interspersed with; vegan baked goods, copious viewings of the big bang theory and daydreaming whilt listening to saves the day/reading the subterraneans.

i'm also really missing all my friends who aren't in norwich, but currently reside in many a different area of the uk. can't wait until i see them all again. whenever that's going to be..

update on next summer's travelling plans: i've been researching portland, oregon quite a lot and it sounds amazing. one of the most vegan friendly cities in america and a strong reputation for diy ethics, as well as a really good music 'scene'. i'm seriously considering appying for a work america programme there. i've been speaking to my friend steph who is currently there and she's given it a glowing endorsement, along with offering to pass my name on to the independent cinema where she works helping kids make films and stuff. this job sounds amazing, but anything involving working in a record store/vegan café/cool clothes shop would be an absolute dream. it's all just a pipe dream at this moment in time, but more an more i want it to become reality.
